John Deere X584 Lawn Tractor (Power Unit Only)

The John Deere X584 is a premium quality lawn tractor power unit which has available to it 48” (122cm) or 54” (137cm) cutter decks (please see below for deck options) so that you can choose the cutter deck that best suits your requirements. Whichever deck you choose, the grass cutting and discharge performance of this lawn tractor is excellent.

Truly outstanding is the X584’s ability to drive around obstacles thanks to the four-wheel steering. Not only do the front wheels steer but the rear wheels steer too. It’s as if you have twice the steering capacity of a normal lawn tractor! Four-wheel steering gives the X584 high manoeuvrability and a small turning circle (actual area of uncut grass is cutter-deck specific) allowing you to cut up to and around obstacles with ease.

Forward and reverse travel is controlled by a foot operated hydrostatic drive to give you maximum control over the mower’s speed and direction. The harder you press the forward pedal, the faster the tractor drives forward. The harder you press the reverse pedal, the faster the tractor travels in reverse. This simple control makes changing speed and direction fast and easy. Once you have achieved your desired speed, you can engage the cruise control and just sit back and steer.

For your comfort, a deluxe high-back seat comes as standard and all of the controls can be operated easily from the driving position. The blades are engaged at the touch of a button and the height of cut is very easily adjusted with a hydraulic deck lift and dial system. Simply set the height of cut on the dial and let the hydraulic system take the strain of lifting and lowering the cutter deck.

Please note, this tractor is pictured with a cutter deck which is not included in the price of the power unit. Cutter decks must be selected separately.

Up to 4 Years Warranty Protection

The John Deere X584 Series is protected by a standard two-year unlimited hours warranty which can be extended to 4 years or 500 hours (whichever comes first) when serviced annually by an authorised John Deere dealer. Private residential use only.

Commercial use warranty is 12 months with unlimited hours.
